Childhood-
India luckly Get great Person on July 7 1981 at ranchi.His paternal village Lvali is in the Lamgarha block of the Almora District of Uttarakhand .Dhoni's parents, moved from Uttarakhand to Ranchi where his father Pan Singh worked in junior management positions in MECON.Dhoni Has 1 sister And 1 brother .sister name Jayanti gupta and brother name Narendra singh Dhoni .
Dhoni is big fan of adam gilchrist,sachin tendin a group of six ulkar,amitabh bachan and lata mangeshkar .dhoni studied at dav jawahar vidya mandir,shyamali,ranchi.in child hood dhoni was good in badminton and football ,also selected for distrit level for this sports .dhoni was a goal keeper for his football team .dhoni was sent to play a local match through his football coach .Though he had not played cricket ,but impressed in wicket keeping .then he selected for commando cricket team for 1995-1998.then he was selected for vinoo mankad trophy under 16 championship due to based on his perfomance in club cricket.in vinoo mankad trophy he performe well.dhoni also worked in TTE at kharagpur railway station from 2001-2003 .
Early Cricket Career-
Junior Cricket team Bihar-
Dhoni played u-19 squad for bihar for the sesson 1998-1999 and scored 176 from 5 matches but team are finished fourth from 6 team . next season 1999-2000 Bihar u-19 was qualified to final and dhoni score 488 runs (9 matches, 12 innings), 5 fifties, 17 catches and 7 stumpings in this tournament .Dhoni made it to the East Zone U-19 squad for the CK Nayudu trophy but scored only 97 runs in four matches as East Zone lost all four matches and finished last in the tournament .
Bihar Cricket Team-
Dhoni Debut His ranji trophy For Bihar In The 1999-2000 season as an 18 year old.he make half centurie in his debut match scoring 68 not out in the second innings against assam .Dhoni finished the season with 283 runs in 5 match.in 2000-2001 season he made his first class centurie against bengal.in 2001-2002 season he scored five fifties in four ranji matches.
Jharkhand cricket team-
Dhoni's performance in the 2002–03 season included three half-centuries in the Ranji Trophy and a couple of half-centuries in the Deodhar Trophy as he started gaining recognition for his lower-order contribution as well as hard-hitting batting style. In the 2003/04 season, Dhoni scored a century (128*) against Assam in the first match of the Ranji ODI tournament. He was part of the East Zone squad that won the Deodhar Trophy that year and contributed with 244 runs in 4 matches. In the Duleep Trophy finals, Dhoni was picked over international cricketer Deep Dasgupta to represent East Zone.[31] He scored a fighting half-century in the second innings in a losing cause .
India A team-
He selectedindia a squad for a tour of zimbabwe and kenya Against the Zimbabwe XI in Harare Sports Club, Dhoni had his best wicket-keeping effort with 7 catches and 4 stumpings in the match. in the tri nation tournament involving of kenya ,pakistan a and india a ,dhoni help to chase down their target 223 against pakistan A with a half centuries.he scored back to back centuries against same team. dhoni scored 362 runs in 6 innings with average of 72.40 . his performance in the series received attention from the then Indian captain – Sourav Ganguly and Ravi Shastri amongst others. However, the India A team coach Sandeep Patil recommended Dinesh Karthik for a place in the Indian squad as wicket-keeper/batsman.

Personal Life-
Dhoni married Sakshi Singh Rawat, his schoolmate in DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali. a native of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on 4 July 2010. At the time of their marriage, she was studying hotel management and was working as a trainee at the Taj Bengal, Kolkata. After the retirement of Sakshi’s father from his tea growing business, their family shifted to their native place, Dehradun.
